Apple is learning from mistakes - Iphone OS 3.0

On March 17, Apple presented the blueprint for iPhone OS 3.0, the next version of the SoCalled world’s most advanced mobile platform. In addition to previewing its innovative features, Apple gave members of the iPhone Developer Program immediate access to the iPhone OS 3.0 software beta and an updated Software Development Kit (SDK) with over 1,000 completely new APIs.

Previous Iphone OS which was criticised for missing important features like MMS, but version 3.0 now features
  • Search your iPhone
  • Cut, copy, and paste
  • Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS
  • Read and compose email and text messages in landscape
Apple promises 100 new features with this major release which is available free of cost for Iphones and $10 for Ipod Touch, but there is other side of this too.

New Iphone OS is mostly likely to block the pirated editions of Iphone, shipped worldwide. That Iphone will not be of any use after upgrading the OS.

OS 3.0 is still missing with some features like, There is no video facility for MMS. Flash support needs to be worked more and bluetooth streaming is not upto the Iphone quality. But as there are more of positives we can have a look at engadget  snaps of Iphone presentation snaps.

Finally, Apple is learning from the mistakes...

Good Job TEAM........
